Annie Tarzi

Brief Bio: 

Industry Experience: Brand Marketing and Advertising Professional with over 20 years of experience in Marketing, Consumer Insights, Advertising, and Customer Service industries. Focused on maintaining brand integrity along with gaining consumer insights in order to deliver impactful marketing strategies. Tim Hortons, Little Caesars, A&W Corporation.

Teaching Experience: Professor-Pilon School of Business with 12 years experience teaching Consumer Insights, Consumer and Advertising Research, Advertising Planning, Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications and current industry software applications and research techniques utilizing Vividata and Nielsen.






Which courses do you teach within the post-grad program?

I teach Advertising Research for Consumer Insights in the post-grad program. I am passionate about the subject because it fascinates me trying to delve into the psyche of the consumer to discover their motivation when purchasing products and brands. Going beyond price, convenience, etc. I want my students to understand WHY.

What is your favourite part about Sheridan?

The camaraderie among faculty, among faculty and students, and most importantly, seeing students succeed!

What do you think the greatest strength of the post-grad program is?

I think the greatest strength is the dedicated teachers who are passionate about their subject matter -who deliver relevant course content up to industry standards, and who are committed to seeing their students succeed.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering a post-grad education in Advertising?

Do it! Be prepared to work hard and have fun.
